Emily was born and raised in a small town in Louisiana, but moved to Arizona during grade school. Her love for animals began from watching documentaries as a kid; her favorites were (and still are) Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter and Shark Week. She has a little Yorkie named Archie, who she absolutely adores. During her free time, she loves to workout, hike, play with Archie and spend time with friends.
