Dr. Yan Lee
Dr. Yan Lee was born in California and traveled around before her family settled in sunny Arizona. Although Dr. Lee was passionate about animals at an early age, it was not until the joy of volunteering at a wildlife rehab center during college that started her journey towards being a veterinarian. Along with some urging from her friends, she began pursuing animal medicine after receiving her Bachelor’s in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Arizona in 2013. After graduating from the veterinary program at Washington State University in 2019, Dr. Lee started practicing at a small animal and exotics practice in Las Vegas. Later, she returned to Phoenix to be closer to family. Dr. Lee enjoys preventive medicine, neurology, pain management and geriatric care.
She is the proud pet mom of an orange cat named Lu (Luey). During her down time, Dr. Lee enjoys binge-watching TV shows, arts and crafts, travel, hiking, and exploring the great outdoors. She is also a self-described foodie and loves to explore the food culture when she can.
