Dr. Jamie Dunaisky

Dr. Jamie Dunaisky grew up on Long Island, New York. She received her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science at The Ohio State University in 2020. In the midst of the pandemic, she moved to Tucson to become part of the inaugural class of the University of Arizona's College of Veterinary Medicine.

During veterinary school she gained hands-on experiences in a variety of species and specialties. She helped develop a project at the Arizona Canine Cognition Center in Tucson that is currently undergoing trials to help us better understand how dogs see the world. She has a passion for animal behavior that was sparked when she was raising guide dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. She is fear free certified and is excited to utilize those techniques to improve veterinary visits for pets and their families. In her free time, Dr. Dunaisky enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants in the valley, and training with her rescue dog (Cash).
