As we continue with your pet’s procedure, numerous monitors are used like in human medicine and the surgical nurse will constantly take recordings of your pet’s vital signs. If your pet needs additional medications at any point during their stay, these can be administered immediately through the IV catheter that we place before the procedure begins. Your pet’s surgical nurse will be in contact with you throughout the day to give you updates; we are also happy to text you photos of your pet during their stay!

After surgery, your pet will recover in an area specifically designed for their comfort. Feline patients will have access to a litter box in their two-room kitty condo, and canine patients will be taken for walks in our enclosed grass area. When you return for your scheduled check out appointment, the surgical nurse and veterinarian will go over all discharge instructions for home care and any medications your pet may need. In the days after surgery, you will receive several follow up check-ins from our staff to make sure that everything is going smoothly and your pet is recovering well.

Our team of doctors includes two surgeons who perform procedures four days a week.
